Vacation Home Buddies & I Have Trust In The Internet September 17, 2008

I am so disappointed with my sister who is living in the city but seldom surfing the Internet. The reason given by her really makes my jaw drop and my eyes pop wide open.
Guess what she says? She tells me that she doesn’t believe in the Internet. Not only is the Internet unreliable, all websites online are also not trusted at all.
Unbelievable, right? It’s really a big contrast between my sister and me. My sister is highly-educated and living in the city, but not surfing the internet. On the contrary, I am a work-at-home mom and living in the village, but making a living online.
My vacation home buddies find it amazing too when they come to know what my sister says. Like me, my vacation home buddies rely heavily on our websites to rent out our vacation homes. To us, a day without the Internet is like the end of the world.
It’s undeniable that the Internet has yet to achieve its full potential as a Trusted Internet, but it’s safe enough if we use PC security that proactively defends our identities.
By using a PC security, we are able to connect with others with full confidence and thus create trust online when and where we need it.
To make my sister have trust in the Internet, I have advised her to spend some time reading Melih Abdulhayoglu’s blog.
Do Cleaning & Washing At The Vacation Home September 5, 2008
Posted by Gypsy The Virtual Traveler in : Villas / Vacation Homes , 3commentsHubby and I had to wake up early today. We are going to our vacation home to do some cleaning up.
In addition to cleaning and washing the vacation home, there is a need to place a few moth traps in the pantry and food storage areas.
I hate to get complaints from vacationers. Though it’s rare to get complaints from vacation home renters, I still hate to hear even one complaint.
The last vacationer complained that he saw some flying insect moths in the kitchen. I know they are commonly found in a pantry and food storage areas, but how did they get into my kitchen? I am still baffled.
I guess I am going to check out with other owners of the vacation homes nearby.
When Buying Vacation Homes, Choose Vacation Home Developers That Go Green September 2, 2008
Posted by Gypsy The Virtual Traveler in : Villas / Vacation Homes , add a commentIt’s amazing to know that vacation home developers in my area are doing their best to conserve the environment and go green whenever they can.
Last week, hubby and I went to view a new vacation home project of the same developer that built our vacation home. Upon chatting personally with him, hubby and I found that there were huge differences that set this developer from other developers.
The developer took his time to explain to us about Precast Concrete and Precast Concrete Septic Tanks.
According to him, his company uses Precast Concrete fencing for all his housing and vacation home projects. Not only does the solid and sturdy concrete eliminate many kinds of noise, it also protects homes from any kind of fire dangers.
Knowing that the developer is so much more humane if compared to other developers, hubby and I have more confidence in his ongoing housing or vacation home projects.
Search For A Vacation Property Through Foreclosure Listings June 15, 2008
Posted by Gypsy The Virtual Traveler in : Villas / Vacation Homes , add a commentMy hubby and I are interested in searching for vacation homes through Free Foreclosure Lists. The last vacation property we bought was through foreclosure listings too. The reason is that foreclosure property is usually less costly as compared to the open market.
If you are keen on investing your money in the business of property, Free Foreclosures are one of your options. Once you purchase a piece of land through foreclosure, you can sell it in open market at its market value. The difference here between the purchase price and the sale price is in fact the profit you earn in this way.
Finding Free Foreclosure Listings is very easy nowadays. The internet is the solution to this problem. You can look for all the information that you need about the foreclosures on the internet.
It is very important that you find websites specializing in providing the people who are interested in the free foreclosure listings with the right kind of updated information at a very quick speed. If the information about foreclosures is given to you in a lot of time, it becomes useless.
Drug Rehab Centers Are Like Vacation Homes To Famous Celebrities June 4, 2008
Posted by Gypsy The Virtual Traveler in : News / Updates On Celebs , add a commentDo you feel that drug rehab centers are like vacation homes to many famous celebrities? When it comes to rehab centers, Lindsay Lohan is the first person that comes to mind. For all time party girl, Lindsay Lohan alcoholism and drugs are the norm.
Lindsay Lohan was once a role model to young teenagers and someone that parents would consider to be a great celebrity for their children to look up too just like Britney Spears once was.
Britney Spears is perhaps one of the high profile celebrities who have been in and out of drug rehab all these years. Mary Kate Olsen, Eva Mendes, were Kirsten Dunst were said to have checked into rehab centers too. Kirsten Dunst had crazy written all over her face, so this was not a shocker in my opinion.
Amy Winehouse is another celebrity singer who had entered drug rehabilitation center for crack cocaine. The irony of Amy Winehouse entering a drug rehabilitation facility is that she plainly stated in hit song, Rehab, that they told her to go to rehab and she said no, no, no.
Rehab in Hollywood is about as common as changing underwear these days, and the way I see it, this is a problem—a major problem.

Fortunately, these days dogs are welcome in lodging facilities across the country ranging from cabins, campgrounds, to vacation homes to even 5 star hotels in the middle of major cities. More and more lodging facilities have a pet friendly policy.
If you are lucky enough, you may come across property owners who love dogs as much as you do. Don’t be surprised if you find dog supplies in the vacation home.
