Braun Pulsonic System 9595 with LCD ScreenAt the age of 48, hubby has tried pretty much every electric shaver known to mankind. Each time giving up was due to the pinching, non close shave and pain in the butt cleaning. In the end, he had to go back to razor blades and the frequent cuts.

One day after checking out some lipovox information, he hopped over to Braun’s website and read about this Braun Pulsonic System 9595 with LCD Screen Shaver and went to Amazon to see the reviews.

He decided after reading the reviews to splurge on another electric shaver. What a find! He loves shaving now. The Braun Pulsonic System Shaver is the closest shave ever by an electric razor and more importantly it does not pinch or burn at all. Even better is the self cleaning which make life easier.

Father’s Day Gifts: Philips Norelco 7140XL Cord/Cordless Rechargeable Shaver May 12, 2008

Philips Norelco 7140XL Cord/Cordless Rechargeable ShaverI bought this Philips Rechargeable Shaver for my brother-in-law as his Father’s Day gift last year. His old, cheap, noisy, corded one was getting too much for him to handle. He was so glad with this personal replacement.

He was skeptical about being able just to rinse it under hot water, but that works just fine. According to my brother-in-law, if you want a good battery electric shaver and don’t want to spend a lot for features you might not need or want, this Philips Norelco 7140XL Cord/Cordless Rechargeable Shaver will do the job.

The internal battery is NiCd. This type of battery has “memory” to it, which means for optimal performance, the battery should be fully drained before you recharge it. Otherwise, the life of the battery will slowly shorten until the battery is useless.

I am going to introduce a few more Father’s Day gifts to you after I finish searching for a Cat5e patch cable for my hubby.
