Having been away for more than 5 days, hubby and I finally came back to our own home.

There were so many things to do this morning. Mopping the floor, wiping the windows, dusting the coffee tables, washing the curtains, and other housework.

Tomorrow we will go to the city again. And we will be back again on Friday. Perhaps I should hire the same cleaner who cleans my vacation home to clean my house when I am back from the city.

I am so touched that some of my family members offered me to use their computers or laptops.

They know that hubby is doing free foot reflexology treatment for my uncle, so they are very willing to let me use their computers. This way I don’t have to resort to any computer rentals whenever I am in the city.

Seeing all family members come together to help my uncle and his family, I am glad to have such a wonderful family.

My uncle is a frequent traveler. Though he travels alone most of the time, there is at least a family vacation every year.

He is fighting with cancer now, but he has confidence that he will recover soon. Hubby and I have faith that his tumor will shrink if hubby keeps on doing foot reflexology treatment for my uncle. Besides foot reflexology, my uncle is taking Chinese medicine to help killing the tumor.

My uncle wants to be able to travel again once he gets well. He told me that he would travel with his family more often if he were given a chance to get will. I pray that God is healing him.

Seeing my uncle going through the pain caused by cancer, hubby and I have come to realize that no health means no wealth. Taking care of our health is our priority now.

I think I am going to cut down on writing travel and lipovox reviews in future. Writing fewer reviews means I have more sleep.

As long as my uncle can survive, it doesn’t matter if the operation comes first or the chemotherapy comes first.

Hubby and I went to visit my uncle in the hospital yesterday. He was diagnosed with stomach cancer and was waiting to have his stomach and maybe part of his pancreas removed next week.

My uncle is an artist who graduated from a Greek college more than 30 years ago. At that time, it’s a pride to the family to have a son studying abroad or graduating from a foreign college or university.

While chatting with him in the hospital, he told me that he found some websites on the Internet that focus on selling Greek clothing a few weeks ago. He was searching for information for his project when he bumped into one Greek Gear online store. And then from there, he discovered another Greek online, and then another.

To commemorate his days in the Greek college, my uncle has collected a great deal of Greek apparel such as t-shirts, sweatshirts, shorts, socks or pants. Sometimes, he buys extra ones to be given as gifts to friends and colleagues. I can’t remember if he mentioned Alpha Xi Delta or Kappa Delta, or anything else.

Choosing souvenirs is easy for my uncle when traveling to another region or another country. But spending some time selecting unique souvenirs is definitely a daunting task for him. He loves traveling, but buying unique travel gifts is the most dreaded part for him.

Each time on a vacation, he has a bad habit of not buying anything until he is ready to come home. Even though he passes by many gift shops, duty free shops, and travel shops selling his buddies’ favorite Nascar Gifts while having a sightseeing tour, he still likes to wait until the last minute. By then he will be tired and not in the mood for shopping.

Guess what his solution is? He buys the usual souvenirs such as mugs, keychains, t-shirts, or shot glasses that display the places he goes on vacation. To him, these items are easy to find and inexpensive. His buddies have to keep calling him to remind him to buy Carl Edwards Merchandise or Jimmie Johnson Apparel if he sees any on his vacation.
