I am so disappointed with my sister who is living in the city but seldom surfing the Internet. The reason given by her really makes my jaw drop and my eyes pop wide open.
Guess what she says? She tells me that she doesn’t believe in the Internet. Not only is the Internet unreliable, all websites online are also not trusted at all.
Unbelievable, right? It’s really a big contrast between my sister and me. My sister is highly-educated and living in the city, but not surfing the internet. On the contrary, I am a work-at-home mom and living in the village, but making a living online.
My vacation home buddies find it amazing too when they come to know what my sister says. Like me, my vacation home buddies rely heavily on our websites to rent out our vacation homes. To us, a day without the Internet is like the end of the world.
It’s undeniable that the Internet has yet to achieve its full potential as a Trusted Internet, but it’s safe enough if we use PC security that proactively defends our identities.
By using a PC security, we are able to connect with others with full confidence and thus create trust online when and where we need it.
To make my sister have trust in the Internet, I have advised her to spend some time reading Melih Abdulhayoglu’s blog.
