Too Many Disasters Happen Around The World, Oct 05

Hubby’s colleagues organized a 3D 2N trip to Thailand last weekend.

At first hubby thought of joining them, but because of my vehement objection, he decided not to join them.

Honestly it’s too last minute to confirm the trip. Besides, there’s the tropical storm “Ondoy” that hit the Philippines, the earthquake that happened in Indonesia and the flood that hit India that worry me for hubby’s safety.

It’s better for him not to travel to any country for the time being. Instead, help me updating my niche blogs, find the best antivirus software or travel gift deals, or write product reviews.

There are simply too many disasters happening around the world that the safest place is the home.

Talk To A Doctor If You Think You Suffer From Menopausal Symptoms Mar 07

My sister is kind of worried that she might reach menopause. She has been experiencing menopause-related symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, and vaginal dryness these two months.

No way, man. My sister is still young, only 40 years old.

Anyway, she is only guessing. She really needs to talk to a doctor to confirm if she really suffers from menopausal symptoms.

Talking about mood swings and vaginal dryness, I think I have too. No way, I am still young.

The French Enjoy Their Meals Most Nov 24

In surveys, eating ranks as one of our favorite pastimes.

Eating is a relatively pleasant activity and it satisfies a basic need. But if you aren’t focused on it, you won’t enjoy as much.

This is why the French enjoy their food more. They can take up to 2 hours for their meals.

The French are less likely to eat alone and they are less likely to be doing something else at the same time.

Head To Full Service Salon Chalfont After Each Vacation Jun 02

I guess like many women out there, the first thing I do once I am back from my vacation and on the way home is making an appointment with my favorite full service salon chalfont. I normally let my hubby take care of my suitcases and drop me at the full service salon.

Pampering myself at the full service hair salon chalont that provides a well trained staff of hair stylists, nail technicians, estheticians, and massage therapists is a must-have after each vacation. Instead of heading home doing the stressful unpacking and laundry, I will relax myself and be pampered with a hair wash and a session of therapeutic massage.

This way I feel great about myself. When I feel great about myself, doing unpacking and laundry after my vacation will become a less stressful task.

The next day, I will return for medicure, pedicure and another session of therapeutic massage. On the third day, I will try the hair salon chalont color and another session of massage. Only after having massage treatment for 3 consecutive days that I feel that I am back to normal and full of energy.

Tips For Clothing For Women When Packing For A Vacation Trip May 28

Traveling can be fun and exciting if you are heading to your favorite destination. But as a woman traveler, you should avoid certain clothing for women in order to keep you safe while away from home.

While packing clothes for your vacation trip, avoid taking clothes that make you stand out. Leave bold colors, logos and definitely anything sexy at home. The safest clothings to be packed are women’s jeans and T-shirts.

Besides safety factor, give much thought to temperature, precipitation, wind and so on. If the weather at the destination varies from warm during the day to cool at night, the wise thing to do is plan to wear layers of lighter weight clothing. This will allow adding or removing such items as a second shirt or jacket, long pants instead of shorts.

Try to keep color varieties to a minimum, concentrating on basic hues such as black or tan. These colors often work well in both casual situations and for slightly formal occasions. It is wise to reduce clothing for women for formal occasions to one suit or outfit, to leave more room for everyday wear and lounging wear.

Generally, you don’t want to spend a great deal of time caring for your clothing when on a vacation trip. Items such as thick sweaters and large coats should usually be left behind. It would be best to take thinner sweaters, light jackets and an extra shirt instead.

When Is The Best Time To Travel By Plane With A Baby? Mar 19

When is the best time to travel by plane with a baby or toddler? The baby’s naptime or bedtime for long flights.

Why? Both you and your child can sleep. Be sure to bring along your child’s favorite teddy bear or blanket.

And make flying fun with crayons, books and plenty of snacks. Plan to go from activity to activity. Then, during your child’s regularly scheduled nap or bedtime, stick to the routine; get her cozy in her favorite blanket, give her some milk and sing her favorite lullaby.

Won’t it be great if the plane can provide baby cribs as well?

Just be sure to avoid early-morning flights on weekdays so you and your baby don’t have to compete with harried business travelers.

Plan Your Road Trip Mar 11

Having a road trip with a group of friends is the ultimate car experience in some people’s minds. Here are some preparations before you hit the road.

First, get a thorough diagnosis and tuneup for your car. Make sure the fluid levels are correct, all belts and hoses are in good shape and there are no major mechanical issues that you may have to face on the road.

Give your car a thorough cleaning. Even if you are not normally too conscientious about this, for a long trip with a number of people in the car, everyone will feel more comfortable if they are not surrounded by old coffee cups or unsightly-stained catch all floor mats.

Make sure you have an emergency kit in the car. An auto first aid kit will usually contain bandages, pain relievers, motion sickness pills and cold compresses. These will get you through a number of common road problems.
