US Airways Flight 1549 Crashes Into The Hudson River

I was out the whole day with hubby, so I just came to know about the crash of US Airways flight 1549 into the Hudson River.

It was reported that US Airways flight 1549 had trouble taking off around 3:30PM prior to the crash.

Thanks to local ferry operators who acted quickly by throwing life vests into the water and picking up passengers.

The Coast Guard Cutter Ridley and NYPD arrived shortly there after.

Try Your Money Luck In Las Vegas

Las Vegas used to be a town of cheap rooms, inexpensive food, and free entertainment. But time has changed everything. Las Vegas is now an expensive city to visit. With casinos, expensive shows, rides, restaurants, Las Vegas hotels and everything else that’s available, you can lose your money very fast.

Among all the expensive shows, events, casinos, attractions and restaurants, nonstop gambling with either cards or slots is perhaps the fastest way to lose your money. If you want to try your luck, no place in the world has as many casinos as Las Vegas. Take your pick from places such as the Sahara Hotel & Casino on the strip to The Palms and other Vegas Hotels in the off strip area.

Though the hotels on the Strip mainly cater to the wealthy, there is still way for you to find discount Las Vegas hotels deals. During off-seasons (usually December and January), many Strip hotels offer lower rates and discount deals.

Still, it is wise to avoid weekends even though you get to book one of the discount hotels in Las Vegas. You may not want to burn a deep hole in your pocket or like to melt yourself in a wild party crowd.

Plan Your Spring Las Vegas Vacation Now

Vegas Hotels

The best time to go to Las Vegas on vacation is in the spring or fall. This is because winter can be a bit cool and it has been known to snow as well.

Las Vegas still remains the strongest contender for the world’s major international tourist attractions. And since a lot of tourists come every year, Vegas hotels become more in demand to accommodate these people during their vacations.

Most people come to Las Vegas to try their luck at playing different games in casinos. That’s why most las Vegas hotels are hotel casinos so that seasoned gamblers have easier access to slot machines and other casino games.

If you are looking for some las Vegas hotel deals, don’t leave out the Sahara Hotel and Casino. The Casino has been upgraded and the monorail stops at its doorstep!

The NASCAR café is interesting if you‘re into car racing and a steak at House of Lords will not set you back too much. Also, don’t forget to try Speed – The Ride for a fast journey through the Las Vegas air.

There are many tours available in Las Vegas and many of them are part of vacation specials or packages. There are jeep and bus tours to the Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon and Death Valley. If you are looking for something a little more adventurous than you can schedule a river rafting or horseback riding outing.

Tips For Planning A Florida Theme Parks Trip

When it comes to theme parks, you don’t want to spend your vacation standing in line with half the world. If possible, try to plan your Florida theme parks trip away from holidays, school vacations and the summer.

Good bets include January to mid-February and the end of August through mid-December. You’ll find smaller crowds, better deals and generally more hospitable weather. The downside is that the parks close earlier, schedule fewer shows and events and sometimes close attractions to perform routine maintenance.

There are now just too many theme park options in Florida to reasonably cram them all into one trip. So, take your time and enjoy the parks, whether it’s for one day or ten days. Don’t try to experience everything; you can always come back, right?

Even if you have a five- or six-day trip, don’t plan to spend every waking moment in a theme park. Pace yourself and spend some down time by the pool or indulging in other slower-paced activities. Your time on the attractions will be the better for it.

There are many deals, offers, packages and promotions for Florida Last Minute Holidays or All Inclusive Holidays online. Just beware of offers that sound too good to be true: “Free trip to Orlando! Airfare included!” Many so-called great deals come with a high-pressure time-sharing-presentation string attached.
