The Circuit City liquidation sales have begun. Have you been out scooping up some clearance deals?
According to my friend, the liquidation sale prices are not as low as most people want.
Yesterday, she was looking for a TV deal at one of the Circuit City stores nearby her place. Guess what? The TV sale prices were only 10% off.
She also came across some Moroccan lamps there too, but no big deals at all.
The usual online store she always goes to gives even higher discounts for the Moroccan lamps. She would rather make the purchase online.

I have been using the eGo Waterproof Sound Case with Speakers for iPod for a couple months now. I feel pretty comfortable taking it to the beach or to the pool.
The sound is much better than what you would expect from the tiny speakers. Unless you’re standing next to a waterfall you should be able to hear your music by the pool. The overall volume is a lot louder than needed, especially if you use it in the shower or somewhere indoors or private.
I personally like the retro-feel of the clear plastic case. I am glad that this waterproof sound case can survive through all of the shower water with my iPod 100% dry.

I gave this Philips PET1030 10.2″ Portable DVD Player to my mom as Mother’s Day gift last year.
She uses it for five days per week, while riding the bus to and from work at a hotel which is about 40 minutes’ ride away. That’s why I want a very good portable DVD player for her.
It has a nice large screen, with very clear picture. Basically that is the most important thing to my mom since she doesn’t use the sound on the bus – Yes, she watches silent movies.
My mom found the 180 degree swivel very helpful as it allows her to balance the machine on her lap with the screen tilted back while riding the bus. more…
