Having backacne is as embarrassing and devastating as having acne on your face. This is especially true if you plan on going on a beach vacation where you will wear your newly bought designer bikini.

Acne is a common problem, both among teens and the adult population, and 75% of those afflicted also have acne in various parts of their body, like the back, chest and shoulders. The reasons for back acne are the same as face acne — imbalance hormones, stress or clogged pores.

If you need help with the pimples on your back before your beach vacation, you can use any of the acne solutions used for the face.

The most important thing to remember about fighting acne is that it does take time. It may sometimes take weeks before you see any change at all.

So you’ve got the big trip planned. Hotels, transportation, and activities have all been arranged, and you’re excited about the big day. But before you go, make sure you make a few preparations a at home. Most burglaries occur when homeowners are on vacation.

The key to making your house look unappealing to burglars is to make it look like somebody’s home. Here are a few tips for keeping your house safe and secure while you’re away.

Don’t broadcast the fact that you’re leaving your house empty and, whatever you do, don’t leave a key hidden outside the door! Instead, tell a trusted neighbor where you are going, and give them a key and your contact details in case of emergency.

Throw possible burglars off the scent by setting lights on a timer switch and adjusting the times to fit your usual routine.

Statistics show that 60% of burglaries attempted on homes with burglar alarms were unsuccessful. Always choose a reputable alarm system monitoring installation company.

Holiday vacations can be a great time to unwind, enjoy life, and get a break from the everyday routine. There is no reason that this time of year should result in elevated stress levels from missed workouts, imperfect diets, and higher than normal levels of sedentary activity.

But large amounts of travel, holiday foods, and unfamiliar places can actually make the holidays a very difficult time for many fitness enthusiasts. Here are some simple tips to maintain your fitness during travel, while still enjoying the relaxation that a holiday vacation can provide.

Before traveling, make sure you pack healthy snacks, including fruits, vegetables, good carbohydrates such as low-sugar or hi-fiber cereal and whole grain breads, and lean protein turkey breast, nuts or legumes. This will keep you from eating unhealthy airplane food or packaged and sugar-laden convenience store foods.

Be sure to bring exercise clothes and shoes. The simple act of packing the right gear will be more likely to make you work up a sweat at some point.

Purchase and pack a bottle of colon cleanser to help flush excess toxins from your digestive system and decrease constipation or bloating.

Enjoy the scenery. Make your travel destination a part of your workout, by touring your environment via jogging, walking, bicycling, swimming or skiing. The more places you can get to by foot, the better and that includes the stairs instead of the elevator!

So You Need A Massage Chair To Massage Your Muscle Tension March 5, 2008

When it comes to getting massage chairs, each person has different requirements and a different budget, so it’s important to ask yourself some questions to ensure you get a massage chair that suits your needs.

Massage chairs often have tons of features, but the reality is that people only use some of them. If you tend to get muscle tension in certain parts of your body, you may want a massage chair that does a particularly good job massaging that area.

Some massage chairs are designed to pay attention to the neck and shoulder areas while others have airbags in the arms that inflate and deflate to massage that area. Some massage chairs have expanding air bags in the leg and foot area. Others incorporate the hip and buttocks.

You’ll also want to compare the intensity or pressure of the massage. Some massage chairs give a strong massage, others use a lighter pressure.

Traveling during the holidays is very exciting and there is plenty going on all around you.

However, it is very important that you remain alert so you won’t be involved in an accident or become a victim of theft.

There are plenty of criminals that target holiday travelers as they know they are likely to have money on them and they aren’t always paying attention to their surroundings.

Accidents can take place anywhere during holiday travel so you need to be prepared for the unexpected. Never speed when you are driving and make sure you have your seat belt on. Allow at least one car length between you and the person in front of you. Should they have to brake quickly you don’t want to rear end them or end up being hit by the vehicle behind you. (more…)

Hiding money while traveling is key — where and how to do it?

Money Belts. Money belts are a tried and true way to hide money while traveling. I often stash cash in a buttoned or zipped cargo pants pocket, but money belts have their place, like while you’re wearing a skirt; I’ve hidden backup bucks in a money belt that stays in my locked backpack back at the room, too.

Some money belts look like belts, and some are cloth pouches worn against the skin.

First of all you must familiarize yourself with all the locations you will be visiting. Read as much as possible about the cities and towns you plan on visiting.

The US Department of State strongly suggests that you register your travel before you leave. This applies to your vacation to Italy. (more…)
