Hubby suggests having a 3D 2N trip starting next Saturday. Urgh, Saturday and Sunday!
I am quite reluctant to be away on Saturday and Sunday because the weekend is my busiest time. There are tons of online tasks that I have to attend to as soon as I receive them.
It’s my hope that hubby will change his mind. Instead of going away on weekend, it’s better to enjoy our 3D 2N trip on week days.
While working out on my treadmill just now, my blogging pal beeped and said goodbye to me from her mobile phone. Apparently, she’s on the way to the airport.
Going for holidays? Again? Oh, I am so jealous! You know, it’s the third holiday trips she has had with her family this year!!
There is another one which is at the end of the year. It’s a one-month family vacation for her.
Oh, I wish I could be as wealthy as her, man!
While checking out the prices for some multivitamins just now, my blogging pal expressed that she was still upset over her canceled holiday trip to France.
I know she had planned the family holidays for quite a while before she made the reservation. But, buddy, let go! There is nothing you can do now.
You know, there are nearly 7 million passengers in total who have also been affected by the cancellation of flights.
Qantas has extended its ban on flights to and from Europe for another 24 hours. This means Wednesday’s services have already been canceled. Still serious, right?
My blogging pal was supposed to be holidaying with her family in Paris today, but they are still here. I think you know why, right?
She had to cancel her holiday trip because all flights to France were canceled due to Iceland volcano ash cloud.
According to her, ash from volcanoes can be turned into a glass form at high temperatures when it passes through a jet engine, which could cause an air disaster.
Air disaster means air crash! Oh, dangerous!
It’s not surprising that some of my blogging pals resist taking any vacations this summer.
Their reasons? Well, most say they fear being jobless after they return from their vacations while others can ill-afford time away during hard economic times and have to work to make ends meet.
What about you?
My family and I have been considering one of the one-week Gatlinburg vacations in Great Smoky Mountains despite the widespread of A-H1N1 flu.
We are tired of confining ourselves at home most of the weekends; we miss the cool mountain breezes and white sand beaches.
When is A-H1N1 flu going to stop?
Oh, I am so looking forward to the screams and thrills at the Dollywood theme park and enjoyment in the hot tub at the balcony of a rental home!
My sisters and the husbands love traveling with their kids. This is completely different from some blogging pals who never ever want to bring their kids along.
For my blogging pals and their spouses, the kids are a pain in the neck!
My sisters love sharing with others how they travel with kids, what they pack, how they handle temper tantrums, how they do long flights and how to afford a family vacation once or twice in a year.
