This Nike + Sport Kit Carrying Case For iPod Nano – Black – AC1380-001 is supposed to be quite handy.

I bought Nike + Sport Kit Carrying Case For iPod Nano – Black – AC1380-001 as an easy and safe way to store or carry my iPod, Nike+, armband, and earphones while traveling.

It’s an easy way to make sure you have everything with you when you get out the door. Open case, check everything is in it’s place, put the case in your travel bag.

It’s a hard-shell case with a pretty tight zipper. Nike + Sport Kit Carrying Case For iPod Nano – Black – AC1380-001 has room enough for the Nike+ Armband (or equal), Nano, sensor, reciever and quite large headphones/earbuds.

I THINK you can fit a foldable Koss Porta Pro headsets in them, but it’s designed for earbuds. The Nano, receiver and sensor fits it a cut-out foam “frame”, but it’s only held together by the thightness of the cut-out, nothing else.

As I feared, the nano falls out if the case falls to the ground (inside the case, so it’s still protected, but annoying) and everything in the cut-out frame drops out even if you look at it funny.

Nike + Sport Kit Carrying Case For iPod Nano – Black – AC1380-001 looks pretty cool. If it had Velcro straps around the foam frame which holds the Nano, receiver and senson, it  would be a perfect iPod travel case.
