I gave this Philips PET1030 10.2″ Portable DVD Player to my mom as Mother’s Day gift last year.

She uses it for five days per week, while riding the bus to and from work at a hotel which is about 40 minutes’ ride away. That’s why I want a very good portable DVD player for her.

It has a nice large screen, with very clear picture. Basically that is the most important thing to my mom since she doesn’t use the sound on the bus - Yes, she watches silent movies.
