Honestly, this hot summer is killing me! I am thankful that the faux wood blinds in my house have been doing well when it comes to blocking out the hot afternoon heat this summer.

Urgh, hubby and I have to stay at a buddy’s house for a night tonight! My neighbor on the third floor has passed on and his funeral will be held right in front of my house.
I am always scared of the sight of funeral and its procession, so it’s better for me to leave the house for a day or two.
It’s for sure that hubby and I will be leaving the house in half any hour’s time before the ceremony for celebrating, sanctifying, or remembering the life of a deceased person begins.
On the way to the buddy’s house, we will stop at a shopping mall for some toys for our friend’s kids.
It’s my hope the funeral ends tomorrow so that I can be back to my own home to sleep.
Finally, I am back to my own self again after a nap and yummy breakfast. Now I am ready to start reading one weight loss story after another before I start writing blog posts for my weight loss blog.
As for hubby, he is ready to go out with his buddies and won’t be home until this evening. I think they will have their usual soccer chat and drink.
What a wonderful morning! It’s only 10.30 am now but I have already had a morning walk, a nap and a yummy breakfast.
Thank You Lord Jesus for blessing me every day.
Guess that I can skip the foods that burn fat today after more than 45 minutes’ morning walk with hubby this morning.
Hubby is exhausted and thus taking a nap on his arm chair now. I am also as tired and sleepy as hubby after the morning walk. Something must be wrong, right?
I think insufficient sleep was the main reason why I was not in the right form during the morning walk. Maybe I shouldn’t have dragged myself out of my bed and gone for a walk when I hadn’t had enough sleep.
I really need a nap now.
I am still waiting for hubby who will be home early today. If he doesn’t show up in 10 minutes’ time, I will have to go for my breakfast alone. My rumbling stomach can’t wait for too long.
It’s my guess that he wants to complete his tasks first before he leaves the office. Or maybe he is now stuck in the traffic jam because there are others who are leaving office early because of the 2010 FIFA World Cup match.
